Women like me

(ES)

Women like me
cannot speak;
A word remains in their throats
like a thorn
they choose to swallow.
Women like me
only know how to weep.
Reluctant weeping
that suddenly
pours and flows
like a severed vein.
Women like me
bear blows,
and do not dare return them.
They shudder with anger
and repress it.
Like lions in cages
women like me
dream...
of freedom...
